Method
- Source
- ResellTrack analysis of Vinted listings and sales. ResellTrack continuously tracks listings published on Vinted and detects the ones that sell. The barometer only publishes aggregates: no seller data, no photos, no individual listings.
- Period
- A rolling 30 days, 25 September 2026 to 24 October 2026 inclusive, compared with the previous 30 days. The window closes at least 48 hours before the calculation, so that sale detection is consolidated (up to 24 hours).
- What counts as a sale
- A listing that Vinted closes as sold during the period. Listings identified as republications of an item already sold are excluded, as are prices of €5,000 or more, which some sellers use to block a listing. The price used is the listing price, excluding postage and buyer protection fees.
- Markets
- The market is the seller's country: France, the United Kingdom, Germany. A sale by a German seller to a French buyer counts for Germany.
- Metrics
- Median price: half of sales happen below it. Average time to sell: days between listing and detected sale. Sell-through: share of listings published in the period already sold by its end. Categories follow the Vinted catalogue tree; subcategories are its finest level.
- Thresholds
- Top lists stop at 20, rankings at 15. A row only exists from 3 sales. Fastest-selling: at least 1,000 sales in the period, so that an average time does not hinge on a handful of items. Risers: at least 1,000 sales in the period and 300 in the previous one, to avoid percentages on a tiny base. Brands: top 6 brands of each market's top 30 categories.
- Collection gaps
- On some days collection was incomplete (daily sales below 50% of the daily median) and caught up on the following days. France: 1 October 2026, 5 October 2026, 15 October 2026, 16 October 2026, 20 October 2026. United Kingdom: 5 October 2026, 15 October 2026, 16 October 2026, 20 October 2026. Germany: 1 October 2026, 5 October 2026, 15 October 2026, 16 October 2026. 30-day totals remain comparable from one category to another, which is why the barometer publishes no day-by-day series.
- Currencies
- Prices are calculated in euros. For the UK they are converted to pounds at the ECB rate of £0.83658 per €1 (published 27 October 2026).

Frequently asked questions
Where do the barometer figures come from?
From ResellTrack's analysis of Vinted listings and sales. The barometer only covers sales detected by ResellTrack: a large sample of the market, not an official Vinted figure, since Vinted does not publish this data.
Why are sales up everywhere compared with the previous month?
Because ResellTrack's data collection expanded between the two periods. To spot what is really growing, look at the gap to the market: a subcategory at +10% versus the market grew faster than sales overall.
Are brands ranked on all their sales?
No: on their sales in each market's top 30 categories, keeping the top 6 brands per category. Those categories make up most sales, but a brand's figure is a floor.
When is the next edition out?
Every month, covering the last 30 consolidated days. Each edition keeps its permalink, so you can cite it without the figures changing.
