How to use ResellTrack to find your profitable Vinted niches
The Resell Track team
Millions of Vinted sales analysed · 200+ resellers supported
ResellTrack automates the most time-consuming task in Vinted reselling: finding profitable niches. But like any powerful tool, you need to know how to use it to really benefit. This guide walks you step by step through setting up your first trackers, reading the data and identifying your best opportunities.
Before diving into the tool, make sure you understand what a profitable Vinted niche is — that's the basis for interpreting the data ResellTrack gives you correctly.
Getting to grips with ResellTrack: the 3 key sections
The ResellTrack interface revolves around three main sections you'll use day to day.
Trackers
This is the starting point. A tracker is a Vinted filter you hand over to ResellTrack to monitor. The tool automatically analyses every new matching listing and detects which ones sell.
To create your first tracker:
- Go to Vinted and set up a search filter (for example: "womenswear, minimum price 50 €, very good condition")
- Copy that search's URL
- Paste it into ResellTrack to create the tracker
- Give the tracker a clear name ("Premium womenswear > 50 €", for instance)
- Activate it and let the tool work
A tip: start with broad filters (a large category with a minimum price) so you get enough data. You'll narrow them down later, once the first niches emerge.
The Niches tab
This is where the magic happens. Once your tracker has collected enough data (usually 48 to 72 hours for a decent-volume filter), the Niches tab automatically ranks the brands detected in your filter by performance.
The metrics to watch for each brand:
- Sell-through rate: percentage of items sold vs listed. Aim for 25% minimum. Above 40%, the niche is very hot.
- Average sale price: what items actually sell for. Compare it with the purchase prices available on Vinted to work out your potential margin.
- Volume: the number of listings detected. Too little volume (under 10 items a month) makes a niche hard to work regularly.
An interesting niche combines a high sell-through rate, a sufficient average price (60 €+) and a volume of at least 5–10 items a month for your filter.
The sales feed
The sales feed shows you, in real time, every sale detected by your trackers, with the item photo, the sale price and how long it took from listing. It's your best tool for identifying the winning patterns.
How to use it:
- Filter by a brand identified as strong in the Niches tab
- Look at the photos of the items that sold: which cut? which fabric? which colour?
- Note the time to sale: items sold in under 24 hours point to the most sought-after patterns
- Build your list of "winning patterns" brand by brand
Advanced features worth mastering
Competitor account analysis
Enter a competing Vinted profile's URL in the dedicated section. ResellTrack gives you their estimated revenue, average basket, sales split by brand and how their activity evolves.
How to find competitors worth analysing: spot the sellers who regularly sell the same kinds of items you're targeting. Their best niches give you direct leads for your own sourcing.
Brand exclusion
If your tracker keeps surfacing the same brands you already know, use the exclusion feature to hide them. The Niches tab will then show only new brands — ideal for continuously widening your pool of niches.
Boost
Increases search volume on a specific tracker so you get data faster. Useful when you've spotted a promising niche and want to validate its profitability in hours rather than days.
Favourite folders
Organise your validated niches by category (Womenswear, Footwear, Sport, and so on). You find your best opportunities again quickly, without digging through every tracker.
A recommended daily routine
To get the most out of ResellTrack without spending hours on it, here's an effective routine:
In the morning (15–20 minutes):
- Check the last 24 hours of the sales feed to spot recent patterns
- See whether new brands have appeared in the Niches tab with an interesting sell-through rate
- Note the 2–3 models that sold best yesterday
Once a week (30 minutes):
- Review how the sell-through rates of your active niches are moving
- Exclude the brands you know well to hunt for new niches
- Analyse 1–2 competitor accounts to identify their recent niches
- Update your list of winning patterns
Common mistakes to avoid
Creating overly narrow filters from the start: a "Sézane camel cardigan size M" filter won't teach you anything new. Start broad, then refine based on what the data shows you.
Acting on a sell-through rate calculated from too little data: an 80% rate calculated from 5 items isn't meaningful. Wait for at least 20–30 items before trusting the numbers.
Ignoring the sales feed: the figures in the Niches tab tell you WHAT to buy. The sales feed tells you HOW to buy (which model, which fabric, which size).

Conclusion
ResellTrack turns niche research from a time-consuming, uncertain chore into a systematic, scalable process. Within a few days of data you identify niches you'd never have found manually, and you can validate them with real numbers before investing.
The key: set up broad trackers, let the data accumulate, and base your buying decisions on sell-through rates rather than instinct.
